IHC Merwede has developed a solution, the so-called telescopic suction pipe installation. The ‘TeleBuis’ construction is made out of a combination of composites and steel. Due to the use of high-quality plastic, an optimal balance between the required strength and rigidity as well as the weight of the construction has been found for the new design.
