The job opportunityDo you have a technical and commercial background? Do you have a proven track record in selling construction equipment? We are looking for an experienced technical oriented Area Manager Sales for the America’s. You will be responsible for HRI sales and marketing activities together with General Manager who will be involved in sales as well. Focus in your area will be on offshore piling applications. In this highly dynamic and independent role, you will be recruited by Hydro-Ram Inc. a subsidiary of IHC Hydrohammer B.V. from the Netherlands.
De werkzaamheden
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
You are, amongst others, responsible for:
- Direct communication with new and existing customers or clients to explain features and merits of products and services in order to solicit orders.
- Coordinating company technical engineering support and services to ascertain customer’s needs.
- Developing new markets such as Offshore Wind Farm construction and (Deepwater) Oil & Gas exploration.
- Proactively approaching clients, project developers and other parties who prescribe foundations solutions.
- Developing action- and marketing plans and report regularly to management.
- Promoting products at trade shows and conferences.
- Answering all questions concerning a product or service, such as price, credit terms, and durability.
- Calculating and quoting prices and completing sales contracts or forms to record required sales information.
Wat vragen wij?
Qualifications
For this challenging opportunity you need to have:
- A relevant Bachelor degree and relevant working experience.
- Solid technical understanding, knowledge and experience.
- Proven and verifiable sales and account management track record.
- Strong skills for taking personal initiatives and commitments.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Willingness to travel (frequent travel is required domestically and occasionally international).
